FIFCO Visiting The Gambia

In a recent visit to The Gambia, president Albert ZBILY, had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Youth and Sport Mr. Gomez to discuss the values of FIFCO and the benefits to membership.

“Reality is that the Gambia has a corporate footballing structure, with teams representing the various parts of the local corporate community,” said Albert ZBILY, “what FIFCO brings to the table is a world wide structure to bring Gambia within the sphere of corporate social responsibility to all employees playing or not.” The visit was part of a world-wide tour that President ZBILY embarked on to drum up support and interest around the world for the upcoming 2018 FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup, which will be held later this year in Montreal, Canada.

“We are delighted to learn of such a federation and the benefits to being part of a great organisation. I can see how our country and our corporate teams can benefit from a world stage,” said Mr. Gomez at the National Sporting Committee meeting.

FIFCO is the world governing body of Corporate Football and actively bringing the sport into a structure that will bring strandarisation to the game and offer the opportunity to countries around the world to showcase their country and their ability to bring employees to the forefront.
