Monaco 02 July 2019 – The International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) announced today a change in host city for the second edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup to the country of Monaco.

The local organizing committee, Challenge Prince Rainier III, the oldest established corporate footballing association in the country, graciously stepped forward to host the games, after the previous host was obliged to step down.  This prestigious tournament will be held in Monaco, between 25-27 October 2019.

“This is a great moment for this young organisation, to see the interest spreading worldwide, is a testament to the success of the first tournament,” said Albert ZBILY, president of FIFCO.

“We truly enjoy this sport, but more importantly, this is a showcase to our great country and towards the values we share with FIFCO” said the President of the Challenge Prince Rainier III, Mr. Christian Michelis.

FIFCO is the world governing body of corporate football and is celebrating its 10 years of existence. This young organisation is bringing professionalism in football tournament organisation and establishing a name for the sport.  In its short 10 years, FIFCO has amassed 60 country members and over 2.5 million players.

“I have known Christian for many years, he is a person with exceptional organizational skills, but more importantly he is a true friend to the organisation and to the sport,” said Mr. ZBILY, “I believe these games will showcase the importance of building better business networking and friendships through the game we love most.”

Registration has already commenced and is open to all FIFCO members. This second edition will feature 16 qualifying nations and companies set in a beautiful part of the Mediterranean in October 2019.
