Kolkata (IN) – In a recent visit to India by the president Albert Zbily, India has confirmed a new delegate as the official representative of the International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) in India.  The Kolkata Super League (KSL) has been running for a few years by passionate owner, Jude Mohanty and will use it as the official base for the FIFCO qualifiers in India.

“Football has been running in my veins since a very young boy,” said Jude, “I believe FIFCO is a perfect conduit for our teams and our players to reach the ultimate level in international corporate football play,” he concluded.

“I am delighted to be here in India with Jude and his staff to see how the KSL has grown and flourished over the years,” said Albert Zbily, “I am confident through Jude’s leadership the KSL will grow and expand throughout India to become a national corporate footballing event.”

Jude Mohanty is the CEO of Infiflex Technologies (India) and spends most of his time building his company and creating relations throughout the tech world but uses his down time to build on his passion for football. “The local market is rife with footballing fans. Participating in a league only seems natural, but now we can play for something that really counts, and that is the Indian title and the right to represent our company and our country in a World Cup,” Jude added.

The KSL will run during the month of April and May with over 20 local corporate teams in a 5v5 format and will crown two champions to represent India in the Morocco 2025 games this upcoming October in the 25+ and 35+ category.

“The FIFCO concept is not only unique it is much needed in India,” said Diptish Banerjee, a Delhi-based IT Consultant, “Football is growing in our country and now as adults we have the same possibilities as the youth to play for our country, this is a wonderful concept,” he concluded.

FIFCO is the world governing body of the sport of Corporate Football and is proudly now represented in India with a national championship qualifier.  FIFCO is headquartered in Montreal, Canada and hosts the yearly FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup, which will be held this October in Fes, Morocco.
