Montreal (CA) – The International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) is excited to announce the addition of three new members to its board of directors. In a strategic move to enhance its market presence and broaden its influence, FIFCO is welcoming individuals from outside the traditional football sphere. Notably, Lara Banjo, a highly experienced banking professional with over 25 years at Standard Chartered, HSBC and Credit Suisse in London, will become the first woman on the board. Joining her are Mr. Joseph Ghaly, a business development expert from Melbourne, Australia, and former Walt Disney executive Vince Koehle from Orlando, Florida.
“FIFCO is embarking on a new path, concentrating on the markets that matter most,” stated Albert Zbily, President of FIFCO. “These new board members will enhance our strategic vision and bring essential expertise to fuel our growth,” he added.
Lara Banjo is set to leverage her extensive network and financial acumen. “Who doesn’t love football? I’m thrilled to join this board and infuse the financial sector’s passion for the game into our initiatives,” she expressed upon her appointment.
Joseph Ghaly is recognized in Australia for his innovative work with NGOs and tech companies. “FIFCO offers a refreshing perspective for the corporate world, focusing on enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction,” he remarked. “I’m eager to bring the vibrant FIFCO spirit to Australia,” he concluded.
Vince Koehle has dedicated much of his career to building brands and fostering relationships with major American companies. His role will significantly expand FIFCO’s reach within the U.S. market. “Soccer is the fastest-growing sport in our nation, and with the 2026 World Cup approaching, there’s a surge of interest in being part of this soccer movement,” he noted.
As FIFCO gears up for the 7th edition of the World Corporate Champions Cup in Fes, Morocco, these new appointments are poised to play a crucial role in its success.
