Fez (MA) – The International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) is delighted to announce that the 7th edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup will take place in Fez, Morocco, from October 22 to 26, 2025. This esteemed tournament will follow the traditional format, featuring 16 companies from 16 different nations, with two age categories: 25 and over, and 35 and over. Additionally, FIFCO will introduce an exclusive women’s championship for the first time, which will be showcased as an exhibition during this World Championship.
“This is a captivating city that will enchant all those who visit it,” remarked Albert Zbily, President of FIFCO. “We take pride in partnering with our local associates to organize and execute the 7th edition of this tournament,” he further stated.
Smart Sports Consulting (SSC), a prominent entity in multi-sport event management in Morocco and an official member of FIFCO in the country, will act as the primary organizer for this edition of the FIFCO World Corporate Champions Cup. “Morocco has become a vital hub for global sports, with the upcoming CAN 2025 and the 2030 World Cup. Hosting this event in Fez is part of this momentum, showcasing not only our organizational expertise but also the rich heritage and history of this imperial city,” stated Otmane Benhlima, Managing Director of Smart Sports Consulting. “The city of Fez provides a distinctive backdrop where tradition and modernity converge, perfectly embodying the essence of contemporary Morocco,” he concluded.
SSC is currently conducting a national qualifier to select Morocco’s representatives for the forthcoming FIFCO Corporate Champions Cup. “Since 2017, we have been actively involved in the corporate football landscape in Morocco, and interest continues to rise. We are confident that this 7th edition will be one of the most successful in FIFCO’s history,” Otmane added.
FIFCO members have initiated their qualification processes within their respective nations to determine the national champions who will represent them in Morocco this October. John Kamariaris, FIFCO Vice President for Finance, remarked, “Each country is diligently preparing for this world championship.” He expressed his admiration for the dedication displayed by each nation in sending their top teams to compete.
Registration is now officially open for all FIFCO members interested in submitting a qualified team for the Fez 2025 Games. Albert stated, “We expect a level of interest from our members that exceeds our initial projections, and we intend to accommodate as many participants as possible within the available space.” The event will feature three days of competition and aims to break all previous participation records.
FIFCO collaborates exclusively with each member country; thus, teams interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to their local representatives for further information on how to get involved.
