Dubai (UAE) – The International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO) is making strides towards establishing a permanent Regional Headquarters in the Middle East and GCC, under the leadership of Eng. Sina Al Fattahi, Chairman of Royal Front Group based in Dubai, UAE.

“The UAE market is gaining increasing importance, and it is crucial for FIFCO to engage with it,” remarked Albert Zbily, president of FIFCO. “The impressive growth in this market, exemplified by the hosting of two World Cups within a span of 15 years, highlights the significant role that football occupies in daily life,” he further stated.

Sina Al Fattahi commented, “FIFCO is an essential federation for our market, considering the vast number of individuals eager to participate in a football community. A considerable portion of the workforce in this country and region supports this model of footballing.”

The United Arab Emirates has previously hosted three World Corporate Champions Cups, with two events taking place in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi. This market offers a conducive environment for developing a platform that will allow FIFCO to grow and deliver its unique football tournaments to a wide regional audience.

“This is in line with our broader strategy to expand into various regions and establish regional offices to strengthen our presence and network,” Albert Zbily emphasized. “The UAE is a key component of our strategy, enabling a more robust foothold in the Middle East and Asian markets,” he concluded.

The International Federation of Corporate Football (FIFCO), with its headquarters in Montreal, Canada, acts as the global governing body for the sport. With over 60 member countries, FIFCO organizes the esteemed annual World Corporate Champions Cup.
